What packaging works for a sheet mask?

A custom printed flat pouch gives a single-use sheet mask a compact retail format and space for your artwork. One option is a premade three-side-seal pouch, filled and sealed on its open side by your cosmetic manufacturer. The material and final seal must be assessed against the actual serum, mask substrate, filling process and storage requirements.

Custom facial mask packaging for beauty brands

A mask sachet has to communicate the product on shelf and work with the actual filling process. Your folded sheet may include a support film and a measured dose of liquid essence; these details affect the pouch opening, usable space and final sealing area. Runlong Pack supplies the empty flexible packaging, while your chosen cosmetic manufacturer fills and seals it.

Premade flat pouches

A three-side-seal pouch has one open side for the packer. Review its opening width, folded mask size, tear notch and sealing clearance. Other pouch and seal configurations require project confirmation.

Printed film for equipment

If your contract filler uses compatible forming and sealing equipment, printed rollstock may be evaluated. Provide the machine and web specifications before requesting a material recommendation.

Design for shelf appeal

Printed sheet mask sachets for your brand

Use a recognizable brand panel, clear product name and coordinated colors to help customers distinguish the range. The final copy, ingredient list, claims and market-specific label information are supplied and approved by the brand.

  • Compare a matte or glossy finish with a physical sample.
  • Discuss metallic effects, foil-containing or metallized structures without assuming they are identical.
  • Choose a tear notch and check that the finished sachet opens as intended.
  • Keep text, barcodes and important artwork clear of the seal, trim and notch.

Special effects, shaped outlines and finishes are subject to artwork, material and production review. A mockup illustrates the design; it is not a production proof or performance test.

Choose sachet dimensions around the mask and serum

There is no universal size for every sheet mask. A hydrogel mask, a folded sheet with backing film and an eye patch can differ in shape and thickness. Start with the actual product and the equipment or manual method used by your filler.

Review the formula, seal and packaging material together

Formula compatibility

Provide relevant formulation details to the packaging and cosmetic teams. The inner contact layer should be assessed against the actual formula; a general material description does not prove compatibility for every product.

Protection and appearance

Light, moisture and other protection needs vary by formula and storage. Transparent, metallized and foil-containing structures are different choices. Confirm the full laminate and required performance before production.

Filling and seals

Serum contamination in the sealing area can affect the process. Coordinate seal width, temperature, dwell time and inspection with the party operating the equipment; verify performance with filled samples.

Runlong can discuss applicable material information and sample-based checks according to the agreed project. The brand and its manufacturer should define applicable product requirements, test methods, shelf-life validation and label approvals for their destination market. Do not treat a packaging mockup as a cosmetic compliance certificate.

Printing, quantities and sample options

Compare printing methods after choosing the pouch format, size, material and quantity per design. A particular liquid-contact structure or finish may require its own feasibility and MOQ review.

Conditional order guidance for suitable projects

Standard custom pouch, digitalSome suitable projects may start around 100 pcs; approximately 1,000–3,000 pcs can offer better value.Size, contact layer, construction and quantity per design.
Normal gravure pouchGenerally around 10,000 pcs; actual MOQ depends on the project.Artwork, cylinders, material and repeat orders.
Film for filling equipmentAssessed by film weight, structure and machine requirements, separately from premade-pouch quantities.Web width, repeat length, core, unwind direction and registration.

Request reference or printed samples

Limited existing reference bags may be available, normally free with customer-paid freight. Standard custom printed samples are approximately USD 50–70 each, depending on size and pouch type; special finishes need a separate quote. A printed sample supports artwork and format review, while actual filled-product validation remains necessary.

Allow time for production

Digital production is typically approximately 8–10 working days. Gravure cylinder making takes approximately 7–9 working days, followed by approximately 15–20 days of production after cylinders are completed. Timing begins after final artwork and specifications are approved and required payment is received. Shipping and testing are additional.

Sheet mask packaging: buyer questions

What packaging can I use for a facial sheet mask?

A custom printed flat sachet can be assessed around the folded mask, serum volume and filling process. A premade three-side-seal pouch is one option: the open side is filled and sealed by the packer. Other seal configurations or machine film must be confirmed for the project.

Do you supply the sheet masks or fill the sachets?

Runlong Pack supplies custom flexible packaging. This page does not offer mask manufacturing, cosmetic formula development or filling services. Share your manufacturer and filling requirements so the packaging can be reviewed with the party responsible for filling.

Which material is best for sheet mask packaging?

There is no single structure for every formula. Review the actual serum, contact layer, required light and moisture protection, filling method and storage conditions. Foil, metallized and other structures have different properties; confirm the selected structure and test it with the finished product.

Can I order a foil or metallic-looking mask sachet?

A foil-containing structure or a metallized appearance can be discussed when suitable for your design and application. They are not automatically the same construction. Confirm the layer structure, artwork, opening and performance requirements before approval.

How do I choose the pouch size?

Measure the folded mask and any support film, state the formula dose, and describe manual or machine filling. Allow room for insertion and a clean final seal. Evaluate a dimensioned sample with the actual contents and filling process before confirming the size.

Can mask sachets be supplied as printed film?

Printed rollstock can be evaluated when the customer or contract filler has suitable forming, filling and sealing equipment. Share machine type, web width, repeat length, winding direction, core size, registration and seal requirements. Film suitability requires machine and formulation review.

What is the minimum order for custom printed mask sachets?

Some suitable standard custom pouch projects may start around 100 pieces digitally, while 1,000–3,000 pieces is often better value. Normal gravure pouch projects generally start around 10,000 pieces. Material, sachet dimensions, design count, printing and filling requirements determine the actual MOQ; special structures may need a separate review.

Can I get a custom sample before ordering?

Limited existing reference pouches may be available, normally free with customer-paid freight. A standard custom printed sample is approximately USD 50–70 each, depending on size and pouch type. Special finishes need a separate quote. A visual sample does not establish formula compatibility or final filled performance.

What should be tested before a cosmetic brand approves a pouch?

Agree on an appropriate validation plan with the cosmetic manufacturer or a qualified testing provider. Depending on the product, this can include formula and material compatibility, seal integrity, filled-pack leakage, storage stability, opening and transport checks. The applicable protocol and acceptance criteria must be confirmed for the project.

How long does production take?

Typical digital production is approximately 8–10 working days. Gravure cylinder making takes approximately 7–9 working days, followed by approximately 15–20 days of production after cylinders are completed. Timing begins after final artwork and specification approval and receipt of required payment. Shipping and any separately arranged testing are additional.
