Custom Powdered Drink Packaging Bags
From a multi-serve pouch to a single-serve stick pack.
Custom printed packaging for milk tea powder, latte mixes and other dry powdered drinks. Plan resealable retail pouches, premade sachets or automatic rollstock around the recipe, serving size and filling equipment.
Share your product photo, target fill and quantity per design. We supply empty packaging; pictured brands and weights are illustrative concepts.

Which Packaging Route Fits Your Product?
Use a suitable zipper pouch for a multi-serve product, or evaluate a flat premade pouch for a manageable small filling operation. A narrow single-serve stick pack is usually formed, filled and sealed from rollstock on a compatible automatic machine. Assess the recipe, dosage, powder dust and moisture requirements before committing to the pack.
For dry powdered beverage mixes. Coffee, matcha and protein powders have their own pages and should be evaluated against their actual formulations.
Develop the Pack for Your Actual Product
Milk Tea Powder
Tea, dairy or non-dairy creamer and sweeteners may change moisture, aroma and allergen requirements. Provide the ingredient categories and intended storage.
Latte & Flavored Drink Mixes
Powders, colors and flavor variants may flow differently. Keep each SKU distinct and review clumping, dust and the intended serving size.
Single-Serve Beverage Mix
Confirm portion weight, dosing process and equipment. Long narrow sticks present a different filling route from a larger premade pouch.
Compare Your Packaging Formats
Multi-Serve Zipper Pouches
For suitable repeatedly used powders. Review the opening, zip cleanliness, fill headspace and first heat seal.
Resealable pouches →Premade Flat Sachets
For appropriate manual or semi-automatic filling. Consider the actual usable opening, powder flow and a clean final seal.
Premade sachets →Stick-Pack Rollstock
For a compatible automatic forming, filling and sealing machine. Send a drawing showing web width, repeat and reel requirements.
Stick-pack rollstock →Choose a serving format that fits your operation

A resealable pouch works for suitable multi-serve mixes. Consider powder volume, dispensing, zipper cleanliness and any scoop dimensions. Scoop inclusion and sourcing are confirmed separately.
Premade narrow sticks can be difficult to fill by hand. For a suitable startup powder pouch, around 5 cm of usable opening can make filling easier; test your own powder and funnel. This is not a universal external bag width.
For machine-formed sticks, the buyer needs compatible equipment or a co-packer. The machine supplier must approve web width, repeat, orientation, eye marks and seal allowances before film production.
Choose the Material for the Product and Its Storage
Review moisture and oxygen requirements, light exposure, the recipe, intended shelf life, transport and sealing conditions. Suitable clear, metallized or foil-containing constructions can be evaluated; the food producer validates the actual filled package.
Ask for the food-contact test documents applicable to the selected material and intended use. Printed visual concepts do not establish material construction or performance.
Send a Useful Brief for a Size Recommendation
| Information | What to share |
|---|---|
| Actual product | Product photos, recipe category, bulk density and powder behavior where available. |
| Intended fill | Net weight or portion size, powder density if known, normal fill variation and settled volume. |
| Packing method | Premade bag opening and closing route, or the approved film drawing for your machine. |
| Order & destination | Quantity per design, number of SKUs, storage, target shelf life and delivery destination. |
Use our bag size guide to prepare measurements. Confirm the gusset convention, usable interior and seals on the final drawing, then check fit with actual product. A printed weight on a concept image is not a standard capacity.

Single-Serve Stick Packs: Premade Bags or Automatic Film?
Narrow stick packs are often made from printed rollstock on a compatible automatic forming, filling and sealing machine, which the buyer must have or arrange through a co-packer. For startup projects using individual premade powder bags, a usable opening of around 5 cm can be easier for manual or semi-automatic filling; confirm with your actual powder, funnel and bag construction. The usable opening is not necessarily the external bag width. Confirm machine film width, repeat and seal allowances separately.
Approve artwork separately from machine geometry. Registration, seal areas, usable interior and product clearance need to work together in representative trials.
Build a Printed Range That Is Easy to Reorder
Identify Each SKU
Make the product and variety easy to read. Coordinate colors across the range while keeping recipes and fill sizes distinct.
Reserve Functional Space
Allow room for approved ingredients, relevant allergens, net quantity, barcode, storage instructions and lot/date coding. Keep important text away from seals and folds.
Approve the Production File
Confirm dieline, artwork version, material, quantity per design and color expectations. AI artwork can start a discussion; it is not automatically a print-ready production file.
MOQ, Samples and Production Planning
| Route | Planning reference | Confirm before quote |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary digital pouches | Some suitable projects around 100 pieces; approximately 1,000–3,000 generally recommended for value. | Bag format, size, material, finishes and quantity per design. |
| Ordinary gravure pouches | Generally around 10,000 pieces. | Colors, cylinders, structure, order volume and repeat-order plan. |
| Printed rollstock | Some suitable digital trials around 10 kg; normal commercial recommendation around 300 kg+. | Machine film drawing, material, sealing requirements and separately quoted trial scope. |
These are conditional references. Format, dimensions, film consumption, material, special processes and artwork count determine suitability. Very small bags and special formats use separate assessment.
Sample Plan
Available reference samples are normally free with buyer-paid freight. Ordinary printed samples are typically USD 50–70 each; selected special finishes may be USD 100–150. Other formats and film trials are quoted separately.
Production Timing
Digital production is typically around 8–10 working days. Gravure cylinder making typically takes 7–9 working days, followed by around 15–20 days of production after cylinders are ready.
Approvals & Delivery
Timing follows final specification/artwork approval and required payment. Material availability, trials, special processes, production scheduling, holidays and transport affect the actual delivery plan.

Can you make packaging for milk tea powder and latte mixes?
Yes, suitable printed premade pouches and rollstock projects can be evaluated. Share ingredient categories, serving size, target weight, storage and filling route. Different recipes and allergens require their own review.
Which format suits a multi-serve beverage powder?
A resealable stand-up pouch can be evaluated for suitable products. Check the actual volume, opening, scooping or pouring route, clean zipper and initial heat seal using the intended filled product.
Can a startup fill premade stick bags manually?
Narrow long stick bags can be difficult to fill manually. For an appropriate premade powder pouch, an opening of around 5 cm can make filling easier; test the usable opening with the actual powder, funnel and sealing method. External pouch width and usable opening are not always identical.
Do I need a machine for rollstock stick packs?
Yes, a compatible forming, filling and sealing machine is required for the rollstock route. The buyer can use its own line or a suitable co-packer. Send approved web width, repeat, eye mark, unwind, reel limits and sealing requirements.
How can packaging help with powder clumping?
Define the actual ingredients, moisture sensitivity, storage conditions, desired shelf life and filling process. Evaluate the whole sealed package and test the finished product. A pouch alone cannot guarantee that a recipe will never clump.
Can I include a scoop?
Provide the scoop dimensions and desired arrangement when selecting the pouch opening and filled volume. Scoop supply and food-contact suitability are separate project requirements; inclusion is not automatic.
Can multiple flavors share a packaging project?
Suitable digital projects with compatible dimensions, materials and processes can be evaluated together. Quantity per SKU and artwork count still matter; combined pricing or a universal minimum per design is not guaranteed.
Can powdered drink pouches have a window?
An intact clear-film window can be evaluated against the whole-package storage requirements. A continuous opaque foil or metallized layer cannot remain across the transparent area. A clear front with an opaque back is a different construction and does not automatically provide full-foil barrier performance.
What is the MOQ for custom printed powder bags?
Some suitable ordinary digital pouch projects can be evaluated around 100 pieces, with approximately 1,000–3,000 generally recommended for value. Ordinary gravure pouches generally start around 10,000 pieces. Dimensions, structure, finishes and quantity per design affect the final minimum; special formats and very small bags require separate confirmation.
Can I request samples and a branded packaging mockup?
Available reference samples are normally free with buyer-paid freight. Custom samples are quoted for their format and specification. A free static mockup is normally prepared within two days after the required logo, product details and design idea are received; the drawing, materials and filled samples are approved separately.
