Turn your granola into a convenient portion pack with custom printed bags made around the recipe, serving size and filling process. Runlong Pack supplies empty flexible packaging for granola brands, food producers and contract packers—not filled food products.

Printed mini pouches · Three-side-seal sachets · Custom dimensions · Multiple flavor artworks

Send your target weight, loose-fill volume, largest cluster size and quantity per design. We will help evaluate a practical bag and sample plan.

Single-Serve Granola Packs for Different Buying Tasks

Portable Snack Portions

Make an individual portion easy to carry and open. Review the tear position, handling and space for readable product information rather than shrinking a family-size design without adjustment.

Breakfast and Topping Portions

Supply measured granola portions for breakfast bundles or topping applications. Match the opening to the cluster size and how the consumer pours the contents; confirm the product remains easy to dispense.

Samples and New Flavor Trials

Use a smaller pack to introduce a recipe or flavor range. Compare quantity per artwork and total project cost: a smaller finished bag does not automatically have a lower piece MOQ.

Choose the Portion-Pack Format Around Your Filling Process

Premade Three-Side-Seal Bags

Flat bags can be supplied with an agreed filling opening for manual, semi-automatic or compatible premade-pouch filling. Confirm which edge will be sealed after filling and reserve enough clean sealing area.

Small Stand-Up Pouches

A bottom gusset may help a small pack stand on display, but the usable volume and filled stability need checking. Add a zipper only where repeat opening is useful; a genuinely single-serving pack may not need one.

Machine-Formed Pillow Packs

Many pillow packs are formed, filled and sealed from rollstock rather than supplied as premade bags. If you have a compatible line, compare printed film and premade pouches before finalizing the format.

Select Materials for Crunch, Ingredients and Sealing

Moisture Protection

Granola can lose its crisp texture when exposed to humidity. Explain the storage environment and intended distribution route so moisture-barrier needs can be reviewed for the proposed structure.

Oils, Nuts and Light Exposure

Nuts, seeds and added oils can make oxygen exposure relevant. Evaluate clear, metallized or foil-containing structures against the actual recipe and storage target; film thickness alone does not establish protection.

A Reliable Final Seal

Keep crumbs away from the sealing area and evaluate the actual bag with the filling and sealing equipment. Any nitrogen flushing also needs equipment-specific trials; the bag alone does not establish a shelf-life claim.

A small bag still needs a complete packaging brief

Start with the actual granola, not the weight printed on a design concept. Oat clusters, nuts and dried fruit occupy different volumes. Confirm the usable opening, seal margins and space above the product before approving the final bag drawing. The illustrated 80 g artwork is not a capacity recommendation.

Measure Volume as Well as Weight

Provide the target fill weight and loose-fill volume, plus a photo and largest cluster dimension. Two granola recipes at the same weight may require different pouch sizes.

Allow Usable Filling Space

State external width and height, opening direction and seal widths. Leave room for loading and the final seal without crushing clusters or trapping ingredients between the sealing surfaces.

Approve a Filled Sample

Trial-fill representative granola, check opening and pouring, then review shelf presentation and carton fit. A design rendering or an empty bag cannot confirm the finished pack performance.

Keep Small-Pack Artwork Clear and Useful

Readable Product Information

Give the product name and flavor a clear hierarchy. Plan space for mandatory information, barcode and lot/date coding; the customer must confirm the required content for the sales market.

A Coordinated Flavor Range

Use different colors or illustrations while maintaining a recognizable brand. Send each artwork and quantity separately so the printing route can be evaluated across the whole range.

Artwork and Dieline Approval

Work to the approved bag drawing with seal and cut margins. AI concepts and raster images can help communicate the design idea, but do not replace reviewed print-ready artwork or barcode checks.

Compare Cost per Filled Pack, Not Just the Empty Bag

Packing Labor and Setup

Premade bags may suit a project without a rollstock line. Include filling labor, sealing, setup and handling in the comparison rather than choosing by empty packaging price alone.

Product Loss and Pack Handling

Check how the granola loads, whether clusters break and how finished bags are handled. Evaluate leakage and seal consistency using the agreed process and representative product.

A Repeatable Specification

Retain the approved material, dimensions, artwork version and filling-trial notes. Review the next delivery requirement early instead of assuming every reorder can start immediately.

Printing, Order Quantities and Production Planning

Digital Printing

Some suitable ordinary custom pouch projects can be evaluated from around 100 pieces. Approximately 1,000–3,000 pieces is generally recommended for better value. Maximum finished digital pouch width is approximately 37 cm; size and material compatibility still need review.

Gravure Printing

Ordinary custom pouch projects generally start around 10,000 pieces, subject to dimensions, structure and artwork. Very small bags do not necessarily have lower piece MOQs. Review quantity per design and cylinder costs.

Samples

Available reference samples are normally free, with freight paid by the buyer. Ordinary custom printed samples are approximately USD 50–70 each; selected special finishes are generally USD 100–150 each, subject to confirmation.

For a qualifying gravure bulk order of more than 20,000 pieces per design, the sample fee may be refunded under the confirmed project arrangement. Review our sample policy.

Eligible digital production typically takes approximately 8–10 working days. New gravure cylinders normally take approximately 7–9 working days, followed by approximately 15–20 days of production after cylinders are completed. Timing starts after final artwork/specification approval and required payment; shipping is additional. Confirm the project schedule and any trial stage separately.

Review the MOQ guide and digital versus gravure printing comparison.

Manufacturing Support from Runlong Pack

Runlong Pack is the brand of Shantou Runlong Packaging Co., Ltd., a custom flexible packaging manufacturer in Shantou, China. We support food brands, manufacturers and B2B buyers with printed premade pouches and rollstock, from specification review and artwork preparation to printing, conversion and delivery coordination.

We use food-grade raw materials for all flexible packaging production and do not use recycled, secondary or scrap materials. Available food-contact documentation is reviewed for the proposed structure and intended use; a report for one sample is not a universal certification for every package.

Project quality checks may cover dimensions, print, lamination and seals, with additional checks selected for the agreed package. Explore our manufacturing capabilities and available compliance and testing information.

Custom Single-Serve Granola Packaging Bags FAQ

Can I order custom mini granola bags for a new brand?

Suitable smaller ordinary pouch projects can be evaluated with digital printing. Send dimensions, material needs and quantity per artwork; around 1,000–3,000 pieces is generally recommended for better value, although some suitable projects can be assessed from around 100 pieces.

Is there a standard bag size for 40 g of granola?

No universal size follows from weight alone. Recipe density, cluster size, usable filling space and seal margins all matter. The weights on our concepts are illustrative; confirm dimensions with the actual granola.

Does a single-serve pack need a zipper?

Not necessarily. A tear-open flat sachet may be sufficient for one serving. Consider a zipper where the consumer is likely to save some contents, and evaluate the added space and cost.

Do you supply filled granola or empty bags?

We supply custom empty packaging. The food producer or contract packer fills the product and validates the filling, sealing and storage process.

Can the packs be filled manually?

A suitable premade bag can be evaluated for manual or semi-automatic filling and heat sealing. Confirm the opening, sealant structure and sealing equipment. Automatic premade-pouch lines need a separate compatibility review.

Are small pillow packs supplied as premade bags?

Many pillow packs are produced on form-fill-seal equipment from rollstock. Tell us your machine and process so we can evaluate whether printed film or a premade bag is the appropriate supply route.

Can I see my branding before ordering production?

Send a logo and design idea for a free static packaging mockup, normally within two days after the necessary information is received. A visual mockup is separate from a physical printed sample and final print approval.

Can you guarantee a shelf life for granola?

A bag specification alone cannot guarantee the finished food shelf life. The recipe, process, initial product condition, sealing and storage conditions must be assessed with relevant testing.
